Our supporters

We rely on support from individuals, businesses and our local community. Without our supporters we would simply not be able to provide the vital services for disabled children and adults throughout Dorset who rely on our support 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for supporting us and the services that we provide. It really does mean the world to us and our beneficiaries.

Harry Redknapp - an English football manager, former player, and King of the Jungle, Harry has been involved with the charity for many years. “It is my absolute pleasure to accept the invite from Diverse Abilities to become a patron of the charity. This feels very much like a natural progression as I have been doing what I can to support this fantastic charity for a while now. I am very pleased to make it official!”

Chris Jarvis – an actor and presenter who has been on our screens since 1992. “Diverse Abilities is a great local charity. It is a pleasure to work with the team, provide support and put a smile on the children’s faces when I visit Langside. It’s the school that’s as bright and happy on the inside as it is on the outside. The amazing teachers, carers and students are the sunniest and most inspiring people you could ever meet.”

Reham Khan – journalist and former BBC South Today weather presenter. “Taking part in the Gold Challenge was a great way to raise money for the charity. The adults and children that attend the charity’s services challenge themselves on a daily basis, so undertaking sports that you’ve never tried before was a great way to put yourself in their position while raising money for a great cause.”
