Christ the King Catholic Primary School, Bournemouth

The primary school became involved with Diverse Abilities as a staff member’s child attended the school.

That member of staff spoke to the school about the charity and organised a presentation to a parent group, which was delivered by our staff and one of the adults we support. Following this presentation, the school’s support has grown from strength to strength.

Some of the adults we support have become very closely involved with the school; listening to the children read, helping with baking sessions, and attending school events, such as sports day and the Christmas play. This has been fantastic for the adults we support and the pupils at Christ the King Catholic Primary School who love their visits from Diverse Abilities.
