Are you looking to help extraordinary people achieve extraordinary things? Diverse Abilities offers you the opportunity to achieve this and is now recruiting for 2 personal support assistants to join our team in Supported Living to support 2 lovely ladies in their own home.

Both ladies love ABBA, going to see shows and are generally social butterflies! They take any chance to go out and explore new things.

We are looking for 2 female Personal Support Assistants to join their team and support them living out their goals and dreams.

**Due to genuine occupational need, we require female applicants only**

Hourly Rate : £13.00 per hour, £50 per sleep-in

Location: Poole, BH17

Hours Available : We have 2 contracts available, working on a 2-week rolling rota

Vacancy 1: 31 hours per week

Week 1 :

Sundays: 10am-10pm

Thursdays: 3pm-10pm

Fridays: 10am-10pm

Week 2 :

Sundays: 7am-8.30pm

Wednesdays: 7am-8.30pm

Fridays: 10am-2pm

Vacancy 2: 33.5 hours per week

* Please note Vacancy 2 it is essential to hold a Full UK Manual driving license, own transport is not required**

Week 1 :

Sundays: 7am-8.30pm

Mondays: 7am-8.30pm

Wednesdays: 3pm-10pm

Week 2 :

Mondays: 7am-8.30pm

Tuesdays: 3pm-10pm

Saturdays: 9.30am-10pm

More about the role…

What you will be doing:

As a Personal Support Assistant, you'll be supporting adults with disabilities in their own homes, helping them to live as independently and confidently as possible. Every day is different- one day you might be supporting with cooking a new recipe or attending local events, the next you could be offering emotional support or attending an ABBA tribute act (see full job description above)

  • You will support with personal care , emotional support and practical support

  • Help with day-to-day activities, including cooking and cleaning

  • Provide encouragement to enjoy social activities and community engagement

  • Be a caring and respectful presence in someone's life

What we are looking for:

  • Kind, caring and reliable individual

  • Fun and patient, with a good sense of humour

  • Passionate about helping others to live their lives to the fullest

  • You do not need experience, just the willingness to learn and we will support you to complete a level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care, giving you the confidence to thrive in your role.
