Nature Nook Birthday Parties

Thank you for considering a party at The Nature Nook! We want to ensure that your visit is enjoyable and safe for everyone. Please review the following terms and conditions carefully:

Venue Details

• This agreement applies only to The Nature Nook area at the Treehouse site.

• Visitors must refrain from entering other outdoor areas or the main Treehouse building (except to use the toilets), as these are not included in the party hire.

• All vehicles must be registered upon arrival. Diverse Abilities is not liable for any parking fines incurred during party bookings.

Booking and Fees

• Party slots are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

• To secure your booking, please select your slot and pay the full balance at checkout. If paying a deposit, the full balance must be paid at least 14 days prior to your booking. Failure to do so will result in your party slot being released. Party bookings within 14 days of the event must be paid in full.

• A group medical consent form will be emailed to you after booking. This must be completed before the party date. Failure to return the form will result in your party slot being released.

• Your payment covers all utilities and associated booking fees.

Cancellation Policy

• Parties will go ahead in all weather conditions, except in cases of unsafe high winds and thunderstorms. Please dress appropriately in warm, waterproof clothing and wellies.

• Diverse Abilities reserves the right to cancel bookings for legitimate reasons, prioritising visitor safety and experience. We will aim to reschedule your party where possible. If rescheduling cannot be arranged, any payments made will be fully refunded.

• If you cancel your party with 14 or more days' notice Diverse Abilities will retain an £80 cancellation fee.

• Cancellations made within 14 days of the party date will incur the full fee with no refund.

Postponement

If you need to postpone your party (e.g., due to illness), please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to find an alternative date, subject to availability. Postponements on the day of the party will incur a £50 fee to cover additional staffing costs.

Venue Access

• Access to the venue is granted 15 minutes prior to your booked start time for setup.

• The site must be vacated within 15 minutes after the scheduled end time. A surcharge of £25 will be applied if this is not adhered to.

Responsibilities of the Hirer

As the party organiser, you are responsible for:

• Remaining on site for the duration of the party. At least 2 supervising adults are required if there are between 12-15 children.

• Not exceeding the number of children booked for the event.

• Ensuring all vehicles are registered upon arrival.

• Providing a list of all attendees for fire safety purposes.

• Ensuring guests only participate in activities they are capable of.

• Enforcing The Nature Nook rules, including tool safety protocols.

• Reminding parents not to bring children who have experienced vomiting or diarrhoea within the last 48 hours.

• Cleaning up after the party.

• Maintaining a nut-free environment—no nut products are permitted on site. While we strive to minimise allergens, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free setting.

• Taking responsibility for any damage caused to the property, facilities, equipment, or toys during your hire. This excludes general wear and tear.

• Ensuring children are appropriately dressed for the weather. Waterproof clothing, warm layers, and wellies are recommended; sun cream should be worn in hot weather.

Responsibilities of Diverse Abilities

• Diverse Abilities is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury sustained by party guests.

• Our staff will lead the scheduled activities but are not responsible for providing care or supervision. You are responsible for ensuring the safety and welfare of all guests under your care.

By booking a party at The Nature Nook, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions. Your cooperation helps us deliver a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
