New offering for outdoor birthday parties

An exciting new outdoor learning experience is being launched at The Treehouse in Hurn, near Bournemouth Airport with lots of options for outdoor birthday parties.

‘Nature Nook’ is a welcoming outdoor space designed to inspire curiosity, confidence and creativity through nature-based learning.

Children can choose between three different party options:

Fairies: Step into the magic of the Nature Nook! This enchanting party is all about fairy-themed fun, including wand whittling, scavenger hunts, and nature-based crafts. Fairy parties are the perfect excuse to dress up, sprinkle some glitter, and let imaginations run wild!

Nerf: An action-packed party where the Nature Nook becomes a fully customisable Nerf Battlefield, with tire walls, camouflage tarps, and pallets to build and hide behind. Armed with our Nerf blasters – plus any your group brings along – children can choose their roles, form teams, and battle it out for victory in a fast-paced, fun-filled adventure!

Bushcraft: Perfect for adventurous kids who love a challenge. Children will explore a variety of survival skills, including fire-lighting techniques, tool use, camouflage challenges, and shelter building. Add in a few fun fitness trials, and you’ve got an exciting outdoor experience that’s all about thriving in the wild.

Lily Felstead, Short Breaks Deputy Manager at Diverse Abilities, commented: “We are really looking forward to welcoming people to the Nature Nook for some really special birthday parties. We’ve got some great themes as well as fun equipment in our outside area including mud kitchens, a fire pit, den building, outdoor skills and a changing place, which we can’t wait to open to the wider community.”

Birthday parties are available to book on selected weekend dates from April-September, with the option to have the party catered where children can cook their own hot dogs on the fire, and toast smores for dessert. Alternatively, you can bring your own food party food.
