Driver
Children’s Team - Langside School, Poole
We are looking to recruit a Driver to transport the pupils from their homes to the school and back in a responsible and competent manner, ensuring the safety of passengers, other road users, members of the public and yourself at all times.
Monday to Friday 8am to 9am & 3pm-4pm
1 hour additional 4pm-5pm per week on variable days , you will be given as much notice as possible to advise which day this is needed each week.

This role requires staff to:
Driving school vehicle
Responsible for the safety, comfort and welfare of Passengers and Staff.
Perform and record daily vehicle checks to ensure “road readiness”.
Report any vehicle defects, faults, incidents and accidents
Be responsible for the cleanliness of vehicles, inside and out and ensuring the vehicle is in a clean and roadworthy condition before and after use.
Refuel vehicles as required.
Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage.
Maintain and help to promote the organisation’s image.
Work within health and safety guidelines and other guidelines that may be issued from time-to-Work within the constraints and guidelines as set out in the company handbook.
To undertake any other associated duties as required by the school.
Take responsibility for health and safety of the organisations vehicle and users.
Essential skills required:
Experience of working with people who have physical or learning difficulty.
A full Manual driving license that you have held for over 12 months.
Due to insurance you must have no more than 6 points on your license
Enhanced DBS Check
Must be over 21 ( for company insurance)
Either completed Medical Emergency Training or willingness to do so
