Willow Dragonfly Workshop this April
Diverse Abilities, Dorset’s Disability Charity, is back this April for another craft workshop.
This month the charity will be hosting a Willow Dragonfly Workshop, giving attendees the chance to make their own bespoke decoration made entirely of willow, the perfect addition to a garden or balcony.
Hosted by Bella & Barley, you will be guided through the ancient process of willow weaving and master the skill of the spiral weave with 6-foot lengths of willow.
The event will be held on Thursday 17 April at The Treehouse, the charities children’s hub in Hurn (The Treehouse, Merritown Lane, Christchurch, BH23 6DT), and raises money to support children and adults with physical and learning disabilities across the Dorset area.
Mariana Swain, events executive at Diverse Abilities commented: “We are really looking forward to hosting our Willow Dragonfly Workshop where people can learn a new skill and take home a really unique piece for their gardens.”
The event is part of an ongoing Craft Club, with future events including:
Cowboy Hat Workshop – Wednesday 7 May
Pottery Painting – Tuesday 10 June
Watercolour Workshop – Tuesday 15 July
