Join the Fun at The Beehive Summer Fayre
Local charity Diverse Abilities is inviting the community to enjoy a fun-filled day at The Beehive, adult activity and therapy day centre, at the annual Summer Fayre on Saturday 15 August.
Taking place from 11am to 2pm, the free event promises something for all ages, with a range of stalls, a barbecue, refreshments, games, and a bouncy castle.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to look around The Beehive and learn more about the support and activities available to adults who attend the centre.
Chelsey Mills, Manager at The Beehive, said: “We are excited to welcome the local community to The Beehive for a day of fun, fundraising and friendship. The Summer Fayre is a fantastic opportunity for people to see the centre, meet some of the people who use our services, and enjoy a great day out with family and friends.”
All funds raised during the event will support the adults who attend The Beehive, helping to provide vital services and enriching activities including cooking, crafts, sports and community outings. The centre also offers on-site specialist nursing support.
Chelsey added: “The people who attend The Beehive love being involved in our fundraising events and helping to decide how the money is spent. Whether it's new equipment, a group day out or a shared meal for everyone to enjoy, they take real pride in seeing the difference their fundraising efforts make.”
The Summer Fayre will take place at The Beehive, 13-15 Manor Avenue, Parkstone, Poole, BH12 4LB, on Saturday 15 August from 11am to 2pm. Entry is free and everyone is welcome.
