We’re hiring

Lead Support

Adult Services - Supporting Living, Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole

We are looking for a lead support to lead a team in providing support and personal care for two ladies who have physical and/or learning difficulties to live in their own homes.

*Due to the current demands on the service, we require a FEMALE Lead Support*

We are running a virtual recruitment event on Monday 14th April 2025 at 5pm. Register here or email recruitment@diverseabilities.org.uk

please note: You will be required to work every other weekend and a mixture of days, nights and sleep-in shifts.

Both individuals require full support with all their daily needs and enjoy the company of people who are kind, caring, but know when to have fun!

The ladies enjoy a busy routine including swimming, music and dance, day trips out, going out for a coffee and eating out but there’s nothing like kicking back in the evening to watch the soaps and have a good natter over a cup of tea or coffee.

You will deliver practical, physical, social, and emotional support to individuals.

You would need to be outgoing, kind, caring, and have a reliable nature and a great sense of humour.

We offer a full training programme and the opportunity to work towards a Level 3 qualification to ensure you are confident in your position as a Lead Support.

All members of our team support with outdoor activities, cooking, social events, administering medication and intimate personal care.

One of the ladies has diabetes and epilepsy and needs support to manage these.

There is no feeling like knowing you are making a real difference in someone’s life, do you want this too?
