Learning Support Assistant - Communication Support Worker

Children’s Team - Langside School, Poole

We are looking to recruit a learning support assistant to join our Children’s Team at Langside School in Poole. Langside is a centre of excellent providing support for children and young people with complex needs. There’s a whole range of fantastic characters for you to meet and get to know when you’re working with us.

Hours are 8.45am - 3.45pm - Monday to Friday and this role is fixed term until the end of the academic year.

Note: essential requirement - BSL Level 3.

This role requires staff to:

  • follow each individual child or young person’s care plan

  • support with moving & assisting

  • encourage self-advocacy whenever possible
