Birthday Parties

Thank you for considering a party at The Treehouse! We want to ensure that your visit is enjoyable and safe for all. Please review our terms and conditions carefully:

Venue Details

- This agreement covers The Treehouse site, including the main building with soft play and the outside grounds, which features a play park and trampolines.

- Use of the mini golf requires prior approval from the Diverse Abilities Short Breaks Managers, along with an additional surcharge. Other facilities are available by prior arrangement.

- All visits must refrain from entering the water play area, sensory room, cinema room, and gaming room, as they are not included in our standard party hire.

- Visitors are required to register their numberplates on arrival, and Diverse Abilities is not liable for any parking fines received during party bookings.

Booking and Fees

- Party slots are limited and booked on first-come, first-served basis.

- To reserve your booking, please select your spot and pay your deposit at check out. Your booking is not secured until you receive written confirmation from the Short Breaks Managers.

- To secure your booking, please ensure your signed forms are returned within 48 hours of receipt and your deposit has been paid. Failure to do so will result in your party slot being released.

- The full balance must be paid at least 14 days prior to your booking. Payment terms apply for invoices payments. Parties booking within 14 days of the event must be paid in full.

- Your payment covers all utilities and fees associated with your booking.

- Any late payments may result in cancellation of the booking and a loss of deposit.

Cancellation Policy

- Diverse Abilities reserves the right to cancel this agreement for legitimate reasons, prioritising visitor impact. In such cases, we will strive to reschedule your party. If rescheduling is not possible, any payments made will be fully refunded.

- If you cancel your party with 14 or more days notice, you will not be liable for the remaining balance; however the £100 deposit will not be refunded.

- Cancellations within 14 days of the party will incur the full fee with no refund.

Postponement

If you need to postpone your party (due to illness for example), please contact us as soon as possible. We will strive to find a new date for your party, subject to availability. Please note that postponements on the day of the party will incur a fixed fee of £50 to cover additional staffing costs.

Venue Access

- The hirer will have access to the venue 15 minutes prior to the agreed party time for set up.

- All parties must vacate the site within 15 minutes after their designated time. Failure to do so will result in a surcharge of £25.

Responsibilities of the Hirer

As the party organiser, you are responsible for:

- Remaining on the premises throughout the party.

- Not exceeding the maximum capacity of 35 children, unless prior arrangements have been made with Diverse Abilities Management and additional fees paid.

- Ensuring all visitors register their vehicles upon arrival. Diverse Abilities will not be liable for any fines incurred due to failure to register.

- Providing a list of names of all attendees for fire safety protocols.

- Ensure all party guests only undertake activities of which they are capable of and that parents assess the suitability of the soft play equipment for their children.

- Ensure all attendees follow The Treehouse's rules, including wearing socks on the soft play equipment and trampolines.

- Reminding parents not to bring children who have been unwell (especially with vomiting or diarrhoea) in the past 48 hours.

- Cleaning up after the party, including wiping tables, sweeping debris, emptying bins (if required), and organising toys. The main hall, soft play area, kitchen, and toilets should be left in a clean and tidy condition.

- Maintaining a nut-free environment. No nut products should be brought onto the site. While we strive to keep our venue allergen-free, we cannot guarantee it.

- Being responsible for any damage to the property, facilities, equipment, or toys during your hire. Diverse Abilities will seek financial reimbursement for any damage caused, excluding general wear and tear.

Responsibilities of Diverse Abilities

- A Diverse Abilities staff member will be on site during your visit to assist with any questions you may have. However, please note that they will not be responsible for providing care or support. It is essential that you ensure all operational and health and safety needs are met, taking responsibility for your guests and anyone in your care.

- Diverse Abilities will not be liable for any loss or injury incurred by party guests.
