Become an office volunteer

To assist in general office tasks, which could include research, database management, planning or preparation and general administration.

 

Activities

  • General

    • Mailshots

    • Phone calls

    • Sourcing raffle/auction prizes

    • Post

    • Printing, copying and filing

  • Fundraising

    • Help plan or prepare future fundraising events

    • Thanking fundraisers by post and email

    • Help with suppliers and participants

  • Database

    • Add details of supporters to database

    • Check data

    • Researching

    • To investigate groups and events in the local area

    • To research corporate organisations in the local area

  • Projects

    • We have a variety of campaigns throughout the year which may involve specific admin tasks

    • We may have ad hoc projects including organising collection pots

Skills & personal qualities required

  • Basic computer skills (depending on the task)

  • Ability to interact with the public

  • Friendly and approachable
