Live Music, Beer and Bavarian Festivities at Charity Oktoberfest
Diverse Abilities is inviting the local community to don their lederhosen, grab a stein and join the celebrations at its first-ever Oktoberfest fundraising event this October.
Taking place on Saturday 24 October at The Treehouse in Hurn, the charity will transform the venue into a traditional Bavarian-style beer hall for a day packed with live entertainment, music, food and drinks.
The event is being organised in partnership with The Bricklayers Pub, and promises an authentic Oktoberfest atmosphere with two lively sessions throughout the day. Guests attending the afternoon session will be entertained by The Bierkeller Boys, while the evening event will feature a live DJ, Alan Turner.
A range of ticket options are available, including VIP, seated and standing tickets, with tables available for groups looking to enjoy the festivities together. Early bird pricing is also available for a limited time.
Money raised will help Diverse Abilities continue providing vital support to children and adults with disabilities across Dorset, enabling the charity to make every day better for the people and families it supports.
Mariana Swain, Events Executive at Diverse Abilities commented; “We’re really excited to be hosting our first Oktoberfest event here at The Treehouse. We’ve got some great entertainment planned, making it a great choice for a day or evening out with your friends, whilst raising money to support local services to support children and adults with disabilities. We can’t wait to welcome everyone!”.
The event takes place at The Treehouse, opposite Bournemouth Airport:
The Treehouse, Merritown Lane, Christchurch, BH23 6DT.
