Hoburne raises funds for Diverse Abilities

Diverse Abilities, Dorset’s disability charity, has continued to receive support from funds raised by Hoburne holiday park.

Linked to the charity for 10 years now, Hoburne has offered invaluable support and expertise to the charity over the years.

More than £3,000 was raised by the holiday park during 2019, from various fundraising events, including a car wash, a quiz evening, and a Christmas carols event.

Naomi Richards, corporate fundraiser for Diverse Abilities, said: “We’re really thankful to Hoburne for all their support with fundraising during 2019. Their monetary donations will continue to help the individuals that we support with profound and complex needs. As well as fundraising, Hoburne also supported the charity by providing us with great spaces to host vital events, helping us to increase awareness of our charity and its work.”

Functions co-ordinator at Hoburne Park, Cara Byrne, added: “We are delighted to support the incredible work being carried out by Diverse Abilities, it’s a fantastic charity which helps change the lives of children and adults living in Dorset. As our nominated charity for 2019, the team at Hoburne Park has helped to make a difference by raising as much money as we possibly can through all sorts of personal and team challenges, along with a fun-packed fundraising programme.”
