Get Creative at ‘Paint & Play’ Event

Families across Dorset are invited to enjoy an afternoon of creativity and fun at Paint & Play, hosted by Diverse Abilities, Dorset’s disability charity.

Taking place on Sunday 8 November 2026, from 3.30pm to 5.30pm at The Treehouse in Christchurch, the event combines arts and crafts with unlimited access to the popular soft play area, creating the perfect opportunity for children to burn off some weekend energy while getting creative.

Children and their families will make their own fabric reusable advent calendars, decorating them with glitter, paint, pens and embellishments. The only limit is their imagination.

Alongside the creative activities, attendees will be able to enjoy unlimited soft play access.

Sam Sayer, Events Executive at Diverse Abilities, commented: “We are looking forward to welcoming families to The Treehouse for our Paint and Play event, where they can make their own reusable advent calendar to use year after year. The money raised goes towards our services that support  children and adults with disabilities across Dorset.”

The Paint & Play event will take place at The Treehouse, Merritown Lane, Christchurch, BH23 6DT.

Tickets are £12 per child, with parents attending for free. Find out more and book tickets at diverseabilities.org.uk/daevents/paint-play-nov

The event is sponsored by Bournemouth One, find out more and listen online at bournemouthone.com.
