Dorset Neon Run – Coronavirus update

Update: 17th March 2020

Thanks to everyone who has signed up to this year’s Dorset Neon Run. We are really excited about how many have registered so far to run and raise money for us at Diverse Abilities.

Following yesterday’s press conference from the Prime Minister and the advice given, we have taken the decision to postpone the event.  Whilst the full future impact of the Covid-19 outbreak is not easy to predict – the health & safety of all participants, volunteers and staff present at our events remains our number one priority.  We will continue to evaluate all Diverse Abilities events regularly and follow all government medical advice given.

We can confirm that our event will be rescheduled for Saturday 12th September 2020.  Full event details and times will follow as soon as possible. Your registration fee and any funds you have so far will be automatically transferred across to our new date.  In difficult times for everybody, it is vital that our community stands together and supports one another.

If you are unable to attend the event on our new date, please consider your registration fee as a donation to Diverse Abilities and the hundreds of children and adults living with complex physical and learning disabilities that we support in Dorset.  Every penny we raise will be vitally significant in ensuring we can continue our commitment to them in these very uncertain times.  See our event FAQs for further information.

We will maintain this page as and when required as advice changes.

Best wishes,

Diverse Abilities Events Team
