Disability charity hosts new networking event
Diverse Abilities, Dorset’s Disability Charity, is hosting a new morning networking event starting this month.
‘Pastries with…’ will be held at The Treehouse in Hurn and is an opportunity to mingle with other businesses and get to know like-minded people in the local area.
The first session takes place on Tuesday 29 April, between 8am and 9.30am, and will feature a speaker from the BCP Council Enterprise Team and a parent from the world of SEN. As well as an opportunity to hear exciting updates about the plans for the charity’s 70th anniversary from the fundraising team.
Nick Mahony, corporate fundraiser at Diverse Abilities, commented: “We are really looking forward starting this new networking event, and giving people the opportunity to meet and chat with local businesspeople. We have a really great space here at The Treehouse, and the speakers involved are so interesting. It certainly promises to be an informative breakfast session.”
The event will take place at The Treehouse, Merritown Lane, Christchurch, BH23 6DT, where there is plenty of free parking available.
It is free to attend the ‘Pastries with…’ network event, however spaces must be booked in advance at diverseabilities.org.uk/daevents/pastires-with and donations can be made during the checkout process.
