Become a fundraising champion

To volunteer in the community raising funds and awareness on behalf of Diverse Abilities.

 

Activities

  • Use buckets to collect donations from the public i.e. supermarket, town centre, etc.

  • Distribute collection pots and arrange collections to local businesses, shops, pubs, etc.

  • Run a stall and raise awareness on behalf of the charity

Skills & personal qualities required

  • Ability to interact with the public

  • Friendly and approachable

  • Enthusiastic

  • Trustworthy

  • Responsible, reliable and punctual

  • Fundraising law knowledge (not essential)

  • People management skills (not essential)

  • Advantageous to have a car (not essential)
