Transition Support Worker (Female)
We’re hiring
Children’s Team - Shapes Transition Service and Lawford Lodge Transition Respite Home
9am to 3.30pm Monday - Friday. You will be required to work alternate weekends (you will have a day off in the week when working the weekend).
To ensure positive outcomes and the continual safety, health and well-being of the young adults using Children’s Services. Provide support to those who access Shapes Transition service and Lawford Lodge transition respite home.
*Due to the current demands on the service, we require a FEMALE transition support worker*
More about the role…
This role requires staff to:
follow each individual young person’s care plan and contribute to their continuing development
assist where necessary all young people with intimate and personal care e.g. personal hygiene, feminine hygiene and bathing
assist where necessary any young person with eating and drinking or maintaining their nutritional needs
encourage, so far as possible the young people to high standards of cleanliness and tidiness
support young people to fulfil their social and emotional needs through play/activities
Essential skills required:
Full, UK Manual Driving License
Diploma Level 3 (care related) or equivalent or willing to work towards
Experience working in Health and Social Care is Desirable
