Children’s Care Lead

Children’s Team - Lily’s Place, Poole & Lawford Lodge, Hamworthy

We are looking to recruit a children’s care lead to join our Children’s Team providing care to children and young people with disabilities across our two respite homes, Lily’s Place and Lawford Lodge. The team work so hard to make sure these children and young people can build on their confidence and independence when they’re away from home. There’s a whole range of fantastic characters for you to meet and get to know when you’re working with us.

We offer a 2 weeks rolling rota. Your hours of work on each shift are either 7am - 7.30pm or 8.30am - 9pm. You will be required to work alternate weekends.

More about the role…

This role requires staff to:

  • follow each individual child or young person’s care plan

  • support with moving & assisting

  • encourage self-advocacy whenever possible

Essential skills required:

  • full, UK manual driving licence

  • minimum of 1 year leading a team in a Health and Social Setting

  • interpersonal skills
