Rate: £11.58 per hour
Hours: 11 hours per week
Monday to Friday 8am-9am & 3pm-4pm
1 hour additional 4pm-5pm per week on variable days , you will be given as much notice as possible to advise which day this is needed each week.
Overall purpose:
To transport the pupils from their homes to the school and back in a responsible and competent manner, ensuring the safety of passengers, other road users, members of the public and yourself at all times.
Due to the size of our vehicles, you must either have a category C1 license or have obtained your licence before 1st January 1997 B category

This role requires staff to
In relation to pupils/students:·
Driving school vehicle
Responsible for the safety, comfort and welfare of Passengers and Staff.
Perform and record daily vehicle checks to ensure “road readiness”.
Report any vehicle defects, faults, incidents and accidents
Be responsible for the cleanliness of vehicles, inside and out and ensuring the vehicle is in a clean and roadworthy condition before and after use.
In relation to management/organisation:
Contribute to and participate in a team-based approach.
Attend training and team meetings, which may be additional to contracted hours.
Act as a positive role model for those around you.
Work within Diverse Abilities Working Values.
In relation to staff team:
Attend and participate in all training and development as identified to develop one’s own skills and abilities.
Maintain a constant desire to learn and develop
